Wherever the South Node sits, we have a feeling of security and usually this area is well developed without you having to do anything for it. You know the saying “get out of your comfort zone”? That’s the South Node. Your soul has mastered this area and it is only natural that we want to stay in this secure and safe space. But unfortunately, it’s not that easy. Throughout our lifetime there will be numerous events that show us that we cannot stay in what we have already learned. The North Node, or Rahu, is calling us to move and get out of our comfort zone. In this sense, the South Node can rather be seen as a resource or the necessary equipment for our soul’s journey in the here and now.
You can draw energy and a sense of security, or even real resources from where the South Node is. And we as the authors of this page want to encourage you to deal with the South Node in this way. Understanding where it sits in your chart will help you turn into the direction that helps you progress. As you might remember the South Node is also known as Ketu, the tail of the dragon. picturing this will make it even more clear – the area of the south node is already full.
