This New Moon will not leave you the way it found you

On the 21st September we witness the second New Moon in Virgo – and it comes with a powerful Solar Eclipse. This is not just another New Moon. It is the closing act of a cosmic story that began a month earlier.

The first Virgo New Moon took place on 22nd/ 23rd August and opened a transformative portal. Two weeks later, the Full Moon in Pisces on the 7th September, paired with a lunar eclipse, brought old emotions and karmic patterns to the surface, urging us to release and let go. Now, with the second New Moon, the portal closes – leaving us lighter, freer, and forever changed.

Virgo, Pisces, and the Lunar Nodes

Since the beginning of 2025, the lunar nodes – Rahu and Ketu, or North and South Node – have been moving through Virgo and Pisces. This cycle will last until July 2026, shaping our collective growth.

Our lesson is to release perfectionism, constant busyness, and the obsession with productivity, and to embrace dreams, spirituality, and trust in the greater wisdom of the Universe. We are asked to rest, slow down, and find peace with what is – in order to align with our higher purpose and free ourselves from karmic knots we could not untangle before.

During this “portal” period between August 22 and September 21, these lessons are amplified. Wherever Virgo and Pisces fall in your birth chart, you are being shown profound truths.

Solar Eclipse in Virgo: the finale

Solar eclipses always signal karmic realignments and sudden revelations. This one may show you where you came from – and where you’re heading.

Virgo energy is meticulous, attentive, and striving for improvement. It rules health, habits, work, and daily routines. New Moons usually open fresh chapters. But this one does more: This New Moon is the finale of a profound transformation in your life and calls you to rebuild your everyday life from a place of clarity.

To do so, you must leave behind the shadow side of Pisces: self-inflicted wounds, the victim consciousness, the self-undoing behaviour, the self-sabotage, or the pain that still holds your soul from a time when you were powerless and helpless, the hopelessness when there is no belief in a higher power. All those things can be left behind you now. These no longer belong in your life. This might mean that you can finally let go of an underlying belief, a sort of mantra, a painful feeling that has kept you a visitor in your own life. The eclipse helps you release painful memories and limiting beliefs so that your routines, habits, and health can be free of heaviness.

This New Moon in Virgo shows you your innocence, your purity and maybe even a taste of your true essence for the first time.

The role of Saturn and Uranus

This eclipse happens opposite Saturn in Pisces, adding a sense of gravity and finality. Saturn represents time, justice, and authority. Here, it acts like a cosmic judge, granting you permission to lay down old burdens. It is as if you are released from karmic debt you have carried for too long.

Just as the previous Virgo New Moon in August squared Uranus in Gemini, this eclipse also approaches a square. Expect some form of communication – a conversation, a song, a post, an article – to arrive suddenly and shift your perspective. It may bring the exact words you need to hear to step into your future without guilt and without heaviness.

The essence of this New Moon

The August New Moon opened the door. The Pisces lunar eclipse revealed old wounds. And now, the Virgo Solar Eclipse brings the finale: the chance to let go, to realign, and to step into your daily life renewed.

This New Moon in Virgo asks you to stop carrying the past, to free yourself from old karmic weight, and to step forward with focus, lightness, and clarity.

A truly profound New Moon in Virgo.
