On the 22th/23th August 2025, the first out of two New Moons in Virgo is going to take place. It is Part I of II, as there will be another New Moon on the 21st of September 2025.

We have an extended period for new beginnings in our reality and daily lives now. Some of you may start a new chapter, others a totally new book!

On a bigger scale – with the North Node in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo our task at the moment is to let go of control, perfection and the need to make sense and create order. Since January 11th the Lunar Nodes have moved to the Pisces-Virgo Axis. Until 26th July 2026 we can dream, find peace and reinvent our way to rest our mind and connect to our souls. It is a collective time of finding a new connection to the spiritual realm, be it through God, the universe or your own inner voice. It is time to understand that we are part of a greater play and not everything can be decided by us. Some things are written in the stars. Some things have been laid out in heaven. And now the cosmic tide is pulling you towards a new reality.

On the more material level, this axis may lead to escalations in wars, for reasons of power or religion. Pisces is connected to Neptune, the God of the Sea. Therefore, it is also connected to the immense power that the sea represents. On the dark side, authoritarian regimes may want increase their land and claim it through demonstration of power or use religious motives to claim land.

Let us hope, that the peace and power of the ultimate order of the universe is stronger and the wars will end.

On the individual level, this Lunar Node combination is emphasized by this New Moon in Virgo, the Full Moon in Pisces that follows on the 7th September and the New Moon in Virgo on the 21st September.

New Moons are typically new beginnings. They are a great time to set intentions, get out your crystals (if you like) and manifest. This New Moon is a bit different though. The South Node in Virgo wants us to let go, the New Moon speaks of New Beginnings. Both is valid.

While Pisces represents the heavens, the dream realm and meditative states, Virgo is reality and day to day lives. It represents routines, work and health, and seeks order and structure through constant analysis.

On the 22nd/23th August, we are therefore called to reinvent our reality

Let go, to create the new. The challenge is that we can not use the means of Virgo. Analysis, control and the To-Do List are not useful and will not work. The South Node does not let us access this energy.

The way to your new reality is in your dreams and longings. In the quiet inner voice, in prayer and meditation.

It is by letting go of control and trusting in the divine that we can change our reality. Mars in Libra supports us and let’s us take balanced action. It weighs the scales of justice before taking careful steps.

This is not the time for controlling everything. Uranus in square to this New Moon in Virgo will anyway introduce and element of surprise. It will introduce some new facts or information that will help you. Listen carefully to others. They might have a divine message for you. But also songs and overheard words might tell you what your soul already knows.

This New Moon in Virgo is the beginning of the eclipse season and is very strong. Use its energy to find out what your soul already knows.

I can recommend “the 5 lives”, a task to find out what you want by Barbara Sher: Take a piece of paper and a pen and some time. Ask yourself – if I had 5 lives, and a I could do anything I wanted (no limits), how would I live them?

You might always have dreamt of being a hotel manager, or a famous singer, or own your own café. Everything is possible. Write and draw each of the 5 lives in as much detail as you like. Enjoy it – it can be a lot of fun!

Afterwards go through all the lives and find what you would like to integrate into your new reality. What are must-haves that you don’t have at the moment? What are nice-to-haves?

By dreaming and identifying the things that you would like to integrate if you were to enrich your life and your reality, you might be able to create a new vision that you can carry into the eclipse season. And maybe your reality has changed quite a bit by the beginning of October.

You have nothing to lose by dreaming. So why not try?

And eventhough dreaming sounds counter intuitive with a New Moon in Virgo, the North Node in Pisces will help you to reach for the stars.
