A Full Moon typically symbolizes a culmination of themes, topics and events around a certain area of your chart. The moon cylce comes to an end and makes way for something new which typically comes in with the New Moon two weeks later. The Full Moon then closes the 28-day cycle and also brings to light your development in a specific area of your chart over the last year. Therefore, Full Moons are often associated with letting go, shedding skin and clearing out.
The Full Moon in June 2026 is happening in the zodiac sign of Capricorn. Capricorn is associated with the planet Saturn and the 10th house in astrology. In the astrologers interpretation Capricorn brings with it the topics of status, career, leadership and legacy. It is often associated with endurance, commitment, hard work and a twist of seriousness – sometimes with a sarcastic humor for those who have their sun or ascendant in this sign.
The planet Saturn represents the gatekeeper, divine timing and a no-bullshit, no shortcuts attitude. And it is Saturn that plays a big role in this Full Moon. The sign that it rules makes its way to the finish line and with it a chapter in your personal career, status, work or leadership comes to a culmination. Capricorn teaches us to work towards a goal. And once the goal is reached, the next goal comes in its place. So ask yourself – which big goal of yours did you achieve? Maybe you find an old Vision Board and take stock on what you have achieved in the last year – or even years. Saturn is in Aries at the moment, which hints to a success, career step or change in status (e.g. wedding) that you identify yourself through. It is time to ask – should I define myself through career or social status? Or is it time to adjust those topics towards a more authentic representation of yourself?
This is the Capricorn message – pic a new goal. You have achieved a lot, you have reached your goals. Now its time to move on and move towards yourself more. And even if you have not reached all your goals, ask yourself if your goals are really in line with the trugh of your heart.
At the time of the Full Moon, Mercury is retrograde in Cancer, highlighting the polarity between Capricorn and Cancer. This Full Moon on the 30th June 2026 also serves as a reminder to find a good balance between your private life and focus your emotional wellbeing (Cancer) and your social life and status (Capricorn). It is a change to find a better balance if you dare to close a chapter or at least turn to the next page. And if you don’t believe it….just wait until the next Full Moon which is happening in Aquarius together with Pluto and Juno asking you to find a new tribe….but there is still time.
For now the Capricorn Full Moon highlights our ambitions and gives us the chance to recalibrate between private and social, career and family, homelife and status. And don’t worry – you can have both. If you trust the flow (North Node is still in Pisces) and listen to the signs of the universe there are great things waiting for you. But you have to make decisions, take a stand and put in the work. That’s the beauty of Saturn and Capricorn: Once you put in the work, truly commit and are patient, you get great results in the end.
So maybe this Full Moon is also about such a reward. And if so release all the hard work, the hardships and the struggeling and be proud of yourself.
