Stepping into your Destiny
On the 22h of April, we will experience a unique event! Be prepared to step into a magical and truly transformative energy. The North Node, called Rahu in Vedic astrology, has entered Pisces this year. On the 11th of January, the North Node moved into the dreamy water sign, calling us to follow our inner voice in order to step into our destiny.
This is quite something, as after a long period of very tough influences from Saturn and Pluto (December 2017 – November 2024), we are now – for the first time in our lives – karma-free. But what does that mean?
Can we really make completely new choices? YES! We can!
The North Node in Pisces initiates a new cycle of soul development. The North and South Nodes always move backwards through the zodiac cycle. This means the new cycle begins in Pisces, leading us through all the different signs and houses until we finally arrive at a new ego in Aries after 18 years.
This ego update from the last cycle of the lunar nodes is now complete. And since January 2025, we are free from the old things and energies that dragged us down.
Until now, we didn’t feel like it though.
This is because Venus just had her 40-day retrograde period from the 1st of March until the 12th of April. She took the time for a reassessment of the areas of Aries and Pisces – are we living up to our new standards? And are we headed in the right direction? Now she is ready for another meeting with God.
On the 18th of April – we are going to see Venus and Saturn conjunct the North Node in Pisces, the realm of spirituality, the highest power and God. And this time, they are all headed in the same direction. They met two weeks ago for the first time – but Venus was still retrograde. Her reflection wasn’t finished. And we all know – at this moment in time, a lot can happen in two weeks…
Imagine the lunar node of destiny pulling us towards following our inner voice, turbo-charged by two powerful energies! Venus stands for beauty, comfort, romance, and our value(s), making sure that we do not settle for less than we deserve and also that we stand firm in the values we hold dear to our hearts. This day is great for marriage proposals, weddings, romantic dinners, and luxurious holidays.
On another note, Saturn is here watching the scene, making sure we are the adult in the room, following our responsibilities, and doing the right thing – at the right time (Saturn is the lord of time). Mercury is just 5 degrees away and has moved into Aries, where it meets Neptune on the very same day. It joins the party as a sort of internal paparazzi. It urges us to communicate what really matters to us and step into this cosmic upgrade with our heads held high. And probably tells a few people about it.
With the conjunction of Mercury and Neptune, we may voice our dreams and visions. Beware of Neptune, though, as it can make your thoughts foggy and tempt you into illusion. To channel that Neptune energy, rather have a nice bath or a glass of wine.
This is a great time to take a leap forward in the direction of your dreams. But do not be greedy. You don’t want to create new karma that has to be resolved. Saturn is watching closely to see whether we follow the steps we’ve practiced so many times in our minds over the past years.
You don’t have to be perfect though – and things won’t look perfect. The South Node, called Ketu in Vedic astrology, is in Virgo. This means no checklist, no perfect plan, and not much space for details. This is about the big picture now.
All these planets in Pisces highlight spirituality and our connection to something greater than ourselves. This day and moment show us that we can reach our dreams, but we shouldn’t be fooled into believing that we can control the whole thing (Mercury and Neptune in Aries). And maybe we don’t even know what our dream looks like yet. We might have an idea of how it feels, but do not forget that God is in the driver’s seat – and every attempt to control our destiny will not be successful. It is the ultimate time to let go and trust the process. Trust God and the universe that everything is going in the right direction (as long as it truly feels right).
Pisces stands for surrendering the ego before the greatness of God and everything that is. We are one energy among thousands, and for the whole system to stay in balance, we sometimes have to follow the lead of the invisible. Now is such a time.
But don’t get me wrong – your ego is OK. And it’s OK to take it with you when you immerse yourself in the foggy mist of Pisces. As mentioned in the beginning, we have just had a major ego upgrade (North Node in Aries 2024 – Jan 2025). So the trick is to take your values and your ego seriously, but leave behind your fears and insecurities. With the asteroid Chiron at the end of Aries, together with the Sun and Lilith just having entered Scorpio, those fears are quite highlighted now.
Lilith makes us hyper-aware of everything that is off or impure. If you feel her warning you, make sure you listen to her wisdom.
Keep in mind that Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, has just moved into Aries. Here, it provides us with our highest visions and aspirations. But – Neptune can also cause delusions. So beware of being deluded by Neptune into thinking your ego alone can create the dream. Everything you need is in your ego – but you can’t push it through your ego.
This is extra important because Mars is finally going into its comfort zone again – it is direct and enters Leo on the 18th of April 2025, after finishing an extra-long retrograde in Cancer and Leo. It wants to get into action and do something to move towards our destiny. But move slowly. Mars in Leo can connect us to our heart and make our moves protected by divine love – but only if we do not rush. Go for a run, hit the gym, or do something active to use this energy in a more productive way and get it out of your head.
I’ve never done bungee jumping – but this, on the 18th of April 2025, is what I imagine it to feel like. Jumping into the abyss, not knowing how it will feel, but trusting that the bungee guy knows what he is doing. And that it’s OK that you followed your inner voice to the bungee station.Don’t be scared – it’s a very intense time, but it brings with it a lot of good, a lot to celebrate, and a lot to look forward to. Just make sure you follow your inner voice into the unknown and the energy of pure love ❤️
